Some churches will have a separate mid-week meeting just for prayer, that’s FANTASTIC!

Many just have a combined Bible study and prayer meeting. Either way make room for the prayer.

If you do have a dedicated prayer meeting, don’t let it become another Bible study.

A short devotion from the word at the opening of a prayer meeting is great, but it is not another Bible study. And don’t let it become three quarters of an hour of singing with ten minuets of prayer at the end! Though again that does not mean there can not be any singing.

A prayer meeting is for pleading before the throne of God.

Don’t let other things however good they may be stop you giving that time to prayer!
