This article is written as though fact, but appears to be fiction. Confusing.

If it is made up as a joke, it has the potential to be deceptive to those who would not know it is just made up. The way if claims archaeological evidence, but gives no references suggest that is it made up. If it is claiming to be true, then is says

“I do not understand,” reads an ancient line of pictographs depicting the sun, the moon, water, and a Sumerian who appears to be scratching his head. “A booming voice is saying, ‘Let there be light,’ but there is already light. It is saying, ‘Let the earth bring forth grass,’ but I am already standing on grass.”

Where did the booming voice come form, someone better find out and try to make friends with him.

I really do not understand what you are hopping to achieve, by your posts here. You bring NO evidence that evolution is true or that creation and a young earth and not true, you just keep saying that there is evidence that I am ignoring “all the evidence”. I have seen NO evidence.

"How is it that our finite minds can determine the Truth " That is the key phrase in your post. And that is exactly what the kids are going to learn more about at the summer camps. About why our five senses are good tools, but can be deceived. About how making claims about things that you can by definition not know anything about is untrustworthy. About how neither age, nor popularity or authoritativeness makes any claim more valid. If you want to convince people that things like gods or sin exist, provide evidence, not claims. Talk with people. talk to people, but don't just be lazy and talk at them. If you want to tell people what to think and not how to think, you're on the other side from Truth.

In other words, “Kids, put yourselves in the place of god! Determine truth for yourselves! Use your five senses, and also agree with ME and what I tell you! Believe MY “truth” from what I’ve determined for myself and my five senses, and others I agree with and their five senses, and what others have told them of whom which they agree with! Ignore other beliefs (God) and believe in only MY BELIEFS, because I’ve already put MYSELF in the place of god, so listen to ME and to YOURSELF!” How is it that our finite minds can determine the Truth about where we come from, why we are here, what our purpose is, and where we are going? We don’t have all the answers, and we never will apart from the one true living God. Repent, and believe the Gospel. There is one fact that you can’t deny: You are going to die. The Scriptures say after that, the judgement. If anyone is found without Christ, they will be judged for their sinning/law breaking against the Creator, God. We are all going to die. RD and no one else can deny that. If you say that the only thing that happens to us when we die is that we go into the ground and rot, and nothing else… how do you know? Do you know everything there is to know about life and death? God has revealed to us where we come from, why we are here, what our purpose is, and where we are going. From His word we also learn why there is evil in the world and why people die. Sincerely I ask you, what “truth” do you have for a dying race who has ammassed so many sins against the one who has created them? He offers grace, and if we recieve that grace through Jesus Christ, then our sin will be wiped away forever, and we will not have to suffer the consequences of our sinful rebellion.

Skepticism and evolution are not anti religion. As stated it’s teaching kids to make their own minds up about their world – be open, questioning and inquisitive. Of course you will say that your kids are just this, and no doubt they are, but you and your old book have also convinced them that palaentology, archaeology, physics, genetics, geology and anything else which exibits evidence of an old earth and all that goes with it are what – lies?

OK. Just note that RD did not fund “camps not to believe in God”. He funded camps which were without God. There is a difference.

We gave out the full version of OOS. The abridged version was not, as I understand it, abridged by Ray, but was an already existing abridged version.

Nun of the argument in the article as far as I have read it are un answerable, but for now I am working on an artical about Richard Dawkins plee on the posters in London and other cities, let children choose, while he himself is funding children’s camps not to believe in God .

Here’s that link again to Ray Comfort trying to engage a proper scientist over this very topic. You will notice his false arguments, ignorance of any real science or historical facts and of course the use of out of context Darwinian quoting.

Did you check that you were giving out the full edition of the OOS, or the one from which Comfort had left out several of the more interesting chapters as ponted out in the above link?
