Saturday the 18th July we will be joining with many thousands for Christians on a march of repentance.

A march recognising that we, the church have a responsibility to the nation not only to call it back to repentance and righteous living, but the we have failed in out calling to be right before our God.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14

In this passage God is not saying if that rebellious nation, but it my people. We the church, his people have a responsibility to stand upright before our God.

A guest on the “Christians Together” website said, speaking of the church,

“Many of us have succumbed to the values, world views, life-styles, ambitions, aspirations, priorities and fashions of the prevailing secular culture. Kids’ education, cars, holidays, kitchens, houses, careers, entertainment, recreational pursuits, etc. etc. absorb so much of the mental, physical and financial resources of God’s people, that they have little left to give into the work of the Kingdom.

These “things” have become false gods.”

We will be standing together with w other Christians to call our churches and our nation to return to God.

Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

We will be meeting at Hyde Park Corner ( Park Lane Carriageway) by 12 noon and walking to Trafalgar Square, where there will be an sddress.
