A great flood is not supported by any credible means of scientific proof.

Prove to me that it happened, and maybe you can save my 'soul'.

Referencing the bible does not count, I don't accept accounts, I want hard evidence that isn't open to interpretation.

What I want from you people, if I am to believe you, is a scientific argument that starts in the following way:

"Suppose that there wasn't a great flood as portrayed in the bible."
Now I want you to find contradictions to this supposition, thus concluding that there was a great flood as portrayed in the bible.

This means of proof will force you to encounter hard science which, as I challenge, will make it impossible to find contradictions to the supposition.
Now I don't want to see anything which is psudo-scientific, for example Radio Carbon Dating is accurate and I will not accept anything which includes alternatives to it.
