The Bible accounts of the Creation and the Flood of Noah’s day are absolutely foundational to what Christians believe. If God did not create the world he has no rights over it, and the flood account models for us God’s right to judge the world. If God did create the world he does have rights over it and the Flood teaches us He will judge it.

One of my children’s favorite DVD’s is The Hovind Theory by Kent Hovind. I was sat watching it the other day and it was a newer recording of it than I have watched before and he has a great clip in it from Walt Brown.

Walt Brown gives one of the best explanations I have ever seen of the science behind the Flood of Noah’s day in under 7 minuets. The clip is available on YouTube so I have put it in below. The quality is not very good, but that should not stop understanding what he is saying.

Walt Brown- The Hydroplate Theory

Walt Brown gives a very good overview of the physical processes that may have happened, (we do not know), and that very plausibly explain the physical pictures that we see today as we look at the earth.

If you want to a more in depth explanation I recommend the Hovind theory, or Walt Browns book ‘In the Beginning: Compelling Evidence for Creation and the Flood’.
